Belington man arrested

Police arrested a Belington man for allegedly illegally selling prescription drugs.

Scott Allen White, 63, was arrested and charged Monday with four felony counts of delivery of a controlled substance after he allegedly sold prescription drugs to an undercover operative with the Belington Police Department.

According to the criminal complaint filed in the Barbour County Magistrate Clerk's Office, Allen allegedly sold hydrocodone, a Schedule II controlled substance.

Belington Police Chief Keith Rowan is the invesigating officer. Allen is free on bond.
