MHS sweeps Indians

MOOREFIELD?- The Moorefield High School baseball team swept a pair of games from Berkeley Springs Monday in non-conference action.

The Yellow Jackets (4-3) won the first game 6-5 in eight innings and took the second game 8-2.

DaShawn Brown notched the win for Moorefield in Game 1 in two innings of relief.

Garrett Keller had two hits and three RBIs for the Yellow Jackets in the first game.

Austin Williams picked up the win for Moorefield in seven innings of work. He gave up two runs on eight strikeouts.

Brown had two hits and an RBI, while Kite added two hits for the Yellow Jackets.

Moorefield travels to Elkins at 7 p.m. Friday for a non-conference tilt.
