Elkins High School's Jake Wyatt signed a letter-of-intent to play baseball at Davis & Elkins College next season.
"I'm very excited about the opportunity of play at the next level," Wyatt said. "I wanted to stay in Elkins so my decision was easier."
Wyatt was a three-year baseball player and basketball player at Elkins High School.

"I think Jake will do well at Davis & Elkins next year," Elkins High School coach Adam Roth said. "He is a great defensive catcher for us."
Wyatt also played one-year of American Legion baseball this past summer and plans to play his second year again this summer.
Wyatt plans to major in physical therapy while at Davis & Elkins and is the son of Matt and Amy Wyatt of Elkins.
"We're excited Jake has decided to play at D&E," Davis & Elkins coach Ron Palmer said. "He is the type of young man we want representing our program."
"I want to thank Alan Robin's catch-hitting instructor with First University Athletics of Clarksburg for being a mentor and for pushing him to always be better." Wyatt said.
