MILL CREEK -Alex See's second-inning grand slam carried Petersburg past Tygarts Valley 8-2 Thursday at Bulldog Field.
See went 3-for-5 in the contest and finished with five RBIs for the Vikings, who led 6-0 before the Bulldogs scored two runs in the third inning on an RBI sacrifice fly from Adam Cassell and a run-producing double from Keighan Chewning.
Doug Lambert added a pair of RBIs for Petersburg, while Justin Smith tallied two hits.

Ryan Colaw notched the win for the Vikings in three innings of work. He gave up two runs on two hits, walked three and struck out six.
Owen Arbogast took the loss in relief of Chewning. Arbogast gave up six runs on five hits in three innings. He walked four and struck out one.
Arbogast went four innings, allowing two runs on five hits, fanning two and walking one.
Petersburg (20-7) will travel to Pendleton County at 4:30 p.m. today.
Tygarts Valley ends the regular season with a 13-10 record and will entertain either Union or Tucker County Tuesday in Class A sectional action.
