Hilma L. Lemons, 85, of Ellamore, passed away Friday, May 3, 2013, at Holbrook Nursing Home in Buckhannon.
She was born Dec. 20, 1927, in Pickens.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Devoe and Violet Helmick Casto; her husband, Henry W. Lemons; three children, Mikey, Steve and Bonnie; sisters, Vera and Faye; brothers, Buck, Wayne and Orin; and sister-in-law, Hattie Perry and husband, Hike.
Hilma is survived by four daughters, Karen Cavarnos of Fredericksburg, Va.; Barbara Regalado and husband, Jay, of Weston; Susan Cox and fiance, Roger Layton of Sutherland, Neb.; Christine Grotrian and husband, Gerald, of Johnson, Neb.; four sons, Gary Lemons and wife, Virginia, of Buckhannon; Tom Lemons and wife, Karen, of Buckhannon; Marty Lemons and wife, Phillis, of Ellamore; Roger Lemons of Ellamore; 22 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Judy Cutlip and husband, Charles, of Webster Springs; Debbie Baker of Ohio; brother, Glen Casto of Clarksburg; sisters-in-law, JoAnn Casto of Pickens, and Texanna Casto of N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading and during crossword puzzles.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Tomblyn Whitescarver Funeral Chapel in Buckhannon, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013, with the Rev. Terry Gower officiating. Burial will follow in the Pickens Cemetery.
