The Elkins-Randolph County Chamber of Commerce will meet Wednesday at 11:45 a.m. at the Randolph County Community Arts Center.
The meeting presentation will focus on the Randolph County Building Inventory spearheaded by the chamber.
This project consisted of conducting a county-wide building inventory to gather information on existing buildings and properties that are being used for commercial and retail purposes that are available to rent or buy.
Part of this project also updated the downtown Elkins building inventory conducted by the Housing Authority in recent years.
Hopefully the information gathered can be used by potential business owners, developers or investors to provide the information necessary to help in budgets, make decisions on facility replacement, identify repair costs and also help in area planning for all of Randolph County.
The presenters will include Kate Reed, the former ERCCC executive director, Adam Posey of Davis & Elkins College and Grant Turner, an Americorp volunteer.
For more information call the chamber at 304-636-2717.
