Rain showers around the area postponed several area sectional baseball games on Tuesday.
Games scheduled for Tuesday that will be played today include Hampshire at Elkins at 4:30 p.m., Tucker County at Tygarts Valley at 5 p.m., East Hardy at Moorefield, Buckhannon-Upshur at Lewis County and Pocahontas County at Pendleton County.
Philip Barbour, meanwhile, stayed alive in its section on Tuesday with a win over Grafton and will travel to Liberty at 4:30 p.m. today.

In girls softball action, Elkins and Pendleton County played four innings before rain showers ended their game at Elkins Middle School.
Both teams will play in regional semifinal games on Thursday, and Tuesday's game was held because each squad still had openings on their slate because of postponements during the regular season.
The Tigers will host rival Buckhannon-Upshur at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Elkins Middle School. Elkins lost both regular-season meetings against the Bucs.
The Wildcats, meanwhile, will entertain Potomac Valley Conference rival Moorefield in their regional.
Moorefield won both games against Pendleton County during the regular season. The Yellow Jackets have been idle since defeating East Hardy to win the sectional title last week.
