45 vote in Beverly election

May 9, 2013

Even though the turnout at this week's Beverly City Election was small, Beverly City Clerk Kathy Weese said the election went smoothly.

"We had 45 come out and vote," Weese said of Monday's election.

While the election results are not official until the canvass is complete, none of those running for re-election were opposed.

All seats were up for election. Winning re-election were Mayor David Harper and Recorder Barbara Smith, and Town Council members Jay Gillespie, Rodney Cooper, Tina Pritt, Connie Pingley and Katie Wittaker.
