The Elkins Farmers Market season is underway, and it is open from 9 a.m. to noon every Saturday through October.
It takes place at Town Square behind the historic Elkins railroad depot.
This marks the 38th year of the market, which has many returning members as well as a few new folks. The market offers fresh produce, meats, eggs, baked goods, honey, maple syrup and jams as well as handcrafted jewelry, various wood crafts, glass lampwork, rugs, forged items and more. The market is open from 9 a.m. to noon every Saturday through October.
Events for the season will include cooking demonstrations, and musical entertainment including Michael and Carrie Kline, Back Seat Serenaders and Caleb Karriker. The Klines are set to perform today.
