Members of the Teter CEOS club met April 18 at the Episcopal Church Hall for lunch and a regular meeting. Following lunch, President Cathy DeBarr called the meeting to order with a moment of silence and prayer for Barbra White, a member who passed away.
DeBarr thanked the hostess, Dale Curry, for the luncheon, and Betty Oldaker for door prizes.
The minutes of the last meeting were read, and the treasurer's report was given.

Spring achievement comments were given. The Teter CEOS club was awarded Blue Ribbon Club for 2012. The president thanked those who entered items in the craft contest. Blue ribbons were won by DeBarr, Debbie Kittle, Vonnie Hager, Curry and Janet Smith. Second-place ribbons were given to DeBarr, Kittle and Curry. Other entries were Millie Hornbeck and Justine Woody.
The club was updated on the project "Angels Among Us," which is going well. Janet Smith and Joyce Hoover are the chairwomen for this new service to others.
The West Virginia Strawberry Festival also was discussed. DeBarr asked each member who volunteered for the Strawberry Festival projects to be sure to help.
Kittle mentioned another worthwhile project. The Rosenbaum Family House in Morgantown is where people stay while they have a family member in the hospital. The club voted to bring items for the next three months from a wishlist provided by the Rosenbaum Home.
Judy Beer, Hornbeck and Hager visited the extended care unit at St. Joseph's Hospital in April to play Bingo and have refreshments.
Learn and return will be June 3 at the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church for September, October and November. Pat Strader, Jerry Stankus and Edith Logsdon are to go.
Janet Smith, Burl Smith and Woody picked up trash at the recycling center in April.
It was decided that instead of having favors each month for everyone, that the hostess will bake a birthday cake and members will bring cards for whoever has a birthday that month.
The lesson for the day, "Cashing in on the Coupon Craze," was given by Woody, with assistance from Beer. They said they save money by clipping and using the coupons from newspapers each week and weekly store ads.
The meeting was adjourned and members stayed to set up for a yard sale and bake sale. Door prizes were won by Jerry Stankus, Carol Biser, Beer and Hornbeck.
Members present were Beer, Biser, Annette Brake, Caroline Carpenter, Dale Curry, Cathy DeBarr, Joyce DeBarr, Hager, Hornbeck, Betty Oldaker, Janet Smith, Stankus, Strader, Iris Mae Swecker and Woody.
