The Elkins Fire Department responded to a structure fire call at 234 Seneca Road at around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Fire Chief Tom Meader said firefighters had the blaze contained within 15 minutes. There were no injuries reported.

The residence, which Meader said is the home of Debbie Warner, suffered mostly heat and smoke damage, estimated at around $5,000.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, Meader said.
