Pierpont Community and Technical College will offer a variety of evening courses at Randolph Technical Center in the fall semester.
Lisa Phillips, academic advisor for the college, announced that registration is now open for both college and high school students.
"High school juniors and seniors with at least a 3.0 GPA may register for the evening courses at a very reduced rate," Phillips explained. "Students will generate a college transcript and get a jump start on their college career without leaving home. Of course, college students and adults can also benefit from the convenience of the location. "
Course offerings include the following areas: human communication, criminal justice, early childhood, written English, U.S. History, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, computer applications, math, psychology, Earth and sky and sociology.
The cost for high school students is $76 per credit hour; college students will pay the regular tuition rate. Registration must be submitted by Aug. 12.
The complete course schedule and high school registration forms are posted on the Randolph Technical Center website at boe.rand.k12.wv.us/rtc. For more information, contact Pierpont CTC at 304-368-7256 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
