Editor's note: The following is the sixth in a series of profiles of individuals and teams that will be inducted into the Randolph County Athletic Hall of Fame Saturday at Gandy Dancer Theatre.
The 2001 Elkins High School baseball team compiled a final record of 20-8. The Tigers captured both sectional and regional championships before advancing to the state tournament. The team was led by head coach Mike Johnson and assistant coaches Dick Casey and Steve Collett.
Senior pitchers Josh White and Kyle Kelly received first team All-NCAC and All-State honors. Both players were selected to play in the North-South All-Star game. Junior Justin Rozich was named to the All-Conference second team.

Kelly went on to play baseball at Fairmont State College. Chad Williams also continued his career at Fairmont State. Justin Rozich competed at West Virginia Wesleyan College and Steve Harvey played at Davis & Elkins College.
