KINGWOOD - Braden Hammond fired a 74 to lead Elkins past Preston and Grafton Thursday at the Preston County Country Club.
Kollin Hopwood followed with a 79 for the Tigers, who finished with a team score of 354.
"Braden played really well today," Elkins coach Dave Baird said. "To have two golfers shoot in the 70s was outstanding for us."

Lewis County’s Aaron Hall fired a 76 during a dual match against Philip Barbour Thursday at Deerfield Country Club in Weston.
Brendan Cain (100), Joseph Severino (101), Russell Ward (104) and Kole Hopwood (107) rounded out the scoring for the Tigers.
Grafton finished six shots behind Elkins for second, as Mitchell Crutchfield tallied an 80. Preston (441) was led by R.T. Hare's 102.
Elkins will return to action Monday at the Parkersburg Invitational.
PB downs Lewis
WESTON - Philip Barbour claimed a victory over Lewis County Thursday at Deerfield Country Club.
Luke Freeman had an 83, Tyler Clifton an 86 and Logan Collins and Caleb Hawkins each turned in 87s to lead the Colts, who finished with a team score of 343.
Aaron Hall fired in a 76 to pace the Minutemen, who tallied 356 points. Mark Moran added an 84 and Luke Pudder a 95.
Philip Barbour will host Buckhannon-Upshur at 10 a.m. Monday, while Lewis County will travel to the Parkersburg Invitational on the same day.
