Each year, REAP's Pollution Prevention and Open Dump program conducts tire collection events across the state. At least one collection event is held in each county.
During these events, individuals with proof of West Virginia residency can dispose of 10 tires in a safe way. PPOD is also responsible for the removal of tires piles located across the state.
Tire collection days in Randolph County are Sept. 20-21. Tires may be dropped off at Leslie Equipment Company (on Corridor H near Norton) on Friday, Sept. 20th and at the Recycling Center in Dailey (RCSWA) on Saturday, Sept. 21 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Please adhere to the following tire collection rules:
- Only tires from state residents will be accepted. Please have your West Virginia ID ready when you sign in.
- There is a 10-tire limit per person; for the disposal of a larger quantity of tires, contact Mike Park at 304-940-0258 for instructions.
- Tires on the rims/wheels will be accepted.
