TENNERTON?- Philip Barbour captured a 3-1 win over Buckhannon-Upshur Tuesday night in Big 10 Conference play.
Cassandra Tripplett put the Colts on the board first by converting a penalty kick, which was answered by a PK by the hosts to tie the game.
Brooke Pomp then gave Philip Barbour the lead for good in the second half. Tripplett and Rylee Shahan later combined on a score to give the Colts an insurance goal.

Bailey Huebi earned her fourth win in net for Philip Barbour, which will travel to Robert C. Byrd at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
B-U will visit Lincoln on the same evening.
Elkins 5, Lincoln 2
Olivia Underwood scored two goals as Elkins claimed a 5-2 win over Lincoln Tuesday night in Big 10 Conference soccer action at the EHS field.
Hailea Harper scored the first goal for the Tigers on a header off a corner kick.
Elkins then added goals by Karli Hopwood and Underwood in the final five minutes of the first half to make it 3-0.
The Cougars got back into the match with no time left on the first-half clock on a penalty kick by Emily Knight.
Underwood's second goal with 13:00 left in regulation stretched the lead back to 4-1, and Kayla Gainer made it 5-1 minutes later.
Knight added her second goal with under two minutes left in the contest.
The Tigers had 17 shots on goal for the night.
"This was the first time all season we played a complete game," Elkins coach Scott Cutright said. "I was proud of how we moved the ball and with our composure."
The Tigers (5-1-1) will travel to Lewis County at 5:30 p.m. Thursday for another Big 10 matchup.
