Mary Marie Compton (Woody, Winters) Rexroad died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013, at Traditions at Bristol Village, Waverly, Ohio. She was born to the late Ray and Madge (Roby) Compton on July 25, 1930, in Upshur County.
She was preceded in death by husbands Glenn Richard Woody, Richard O. Winters and Clinford Jackson Rexroad; infant son, Glenn Richard Woody, Jr.; daughter, Della Marie Woody Wireman; and sister, Glenna Jean Heater.
She is survived by daughters, Donna (F. Christian, deceased) Latta and Sandra (Byron) Brandt and son-in-law Darrell Wireman; her stepchildren, Donald R. Winters, Deborah G. Winters Ireland, Gary C. Winters and David Winters; and her sisters, Pauline Koonce, Lena Eskew and Silvia Crites. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. There were no strangers to Mary, and she made friends everywhere she went.
She was always ready to help anyone she could and was loved by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be missed by all.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Sept. 27, at Tomblyn-Whitescarver Funeral Chapel.
