National Assisted Living Week, Sept. 8-14, was filled with exciting activities for the residents, families and staff of Colonial Place in Randolph County. The crowning of the king, queen and princesses; a cake walk and hot dog sale with Fuzzy the Clown; hay rides; and musical entertainment by the Good Ole Boys, Ringing Strings for Jesus, Family Ties, Moatsville Boys, Raymond Godwin, Meg Bedingh and Johnnie Cochran and Mark Hamrick took place during the week. Even the staff got involved by having wheelchair races, ball toss games and balloon popping races. A great time was had by all.
