Lewis Senior Center offers health care help

October 18, 2013
The Inter-Mountain

Many people have questions about the Affordable Care Act and what it means for them. The Lewis County Senior Citizens Center, Inc., recently hired Linda Vance to provide information, and help people establish eligibility and actually enroll for coverage.

Dinah Mills, director of the senior center, said, "Linda has completed the mandatory state training and is eager to assist folks in understanding and obtaining health insurance coverage."

Assistance is available at the Lewis County Senior Center Monday through Friday. Flexible evening and weekend hours will also be available. This is a free service to all Lewis County residents, regardless of age.

To schedule an individual appointment, please call the Senior Center at 304-269-5738 and ask to speak with Vance.
