Tygarts Valley will wrap up its home portion of the schedule today with a non-conference contest against Montcalm at Bulldog Field.
The Bulldogs (0-7) are coming off a 48-14 loss to Pocahontas County. Derrick Villarico had an 80-yard touchdown reception and Keighan Chewning returned a kickoff for a score in a losing effort.
Montcalm enters the game 1-7 and lost to Midland Trail in its last outing.
at Notre Dame
Class AA, No. 10 Philip Barbour will look to keep its playoff hopes alive when it visits Class A, No. 12 Notre Dame (5-2) tonight at Fairmont State College.
The Colts earned a come-from-behind victory last week at home against Buckhannon-Upshur, while Notre Dame is coming off a 75-16 blowout loss at Class A, No. 1 Madonna.
Last Friday, Al Johnson scored touchdowns three different ways to lift Philip Barbour past the Bucs, 39-29. Johnson found paydirt on a 27-yard pass reception, a 38-yard interception return and an 84-yard kickoff return. He finished the game with 188 all-purpose yards and added eight tackles on defense.
Quarterback Tyler Titchnell completed 4 of 5 passes for 58 yards and one touchdown.
The Fighting Irish didn't put up much of a fight last week against top-ranked Madonna, allowing 444 yards rushing and 146 yards in the air.
Pendleton County at Tucker County
The Tucker County Mountain Lions should be rested up and ready for tonight's Homecoming matchup against Pendleton County.
The Class A, No. 15 Mountain Lions were off last week, while the Wildcats lost to Covington, Va., 31-12.
Tucker County (4-3) has lost two straight games, both by eight points.
After winning its first two games, Pendleton County has dropped five straight.
B-U at Fairmont Senior
First-year head coach Duane Stoeckle's Buccaneers have suffered some tough losses this season, but he hopes to get his squad back on track today against Class AA, No. 8 Fairmont Senior.

Class A, No. 10 East Hardy (6-1) might be a looking for a little vengeance tonight at Berkeley Springs after seeing its 22-home win streak snapped last week against Moorefield.
The Indians enter the game 0-7 and are coming off a two-point setback to Clear Spring, Md.
