PHILIPPI - Alderson Broaddus University is hosting the Dr. Robert V. Digman Distinguished Alumni Lecture Series during homecoming today through Friday at noon.
Today Valerie (Ash) Woodruff, class of '66, will present a lecture entitled "Words Matter." Woodruff is retired and previously served as the Secretary of Education for the State of Delaware.
On Thursday, Thomas S. Heckman, '70, will present "Money Matters." Heckman works for Hare, Chase & Heckman, Inc., located in Malvern, Pa.
On Friday, Arnold D. Scott, '64, will conclude the lecture series with "Ideas Matter." Scott is the chairman and CEO of Asset Link International, LLC in Stockbridge, Vt.
The lectures series will take place each day at noon in Crim Dining Room located in the AB Campus Center. All three lectures are free and open to the public. Guests are invited to go through the serving line and bring their lunch. The cost of lunch is $5.61 each day.
The Dr. Robert V. Digman Distinguished Alumni Lecture Series honors Digman for his outstanding service to Alderson Broaddus University. He has devoted his life to the institution, its students, and continues to support the growing campus. Digman is "honored and humbled" to be recognized in this way.
