ELKINS - Both of the Elkins Bengals youth football teams lost in the playoffs this past weekend. The Midgets fell to FOP Fairmont 26-6 at East-West Stadium on Sunday and the Pee Wee's were defeated by Bridgeport Red 41-0 Saturday at Wimer Stadium.
The Midgets had trouble taking care of the ball and the offense suffered.
Coy Daniels managed 33 yards on the ground, followed by Gabe Guire with 28 yards.

Daniel Romans was held to just 24 rushing yards and a pass reception for 10 yards.
Cory Reed had a five-yard reception.
Romans did shine defensively though, with 10 tackles and a 90-yard fumble return for a touchdown.
Branson Chenoweth added seven tackles on defense, Reed had five, and Austin Storey, Peyton Isner, and Logan Rowan each contributed four tackles.
The Midgets finish the year at 4-5.
The Pee Wee's were really never in the game, although individually, T.J. Guire did set a milestone. With his 53 yards rushing he went over 1,100 yards for the season.
Other notable rushers were Trevor Smith with 26 yards and Landen Weese with 19 yards.
Guire made his presence known on defense with 24 tackles and a blocked field goal.
Other defensive leaders were Tyler Ludwig with 10 tackles, Isaac Talkington added seven, and four players, Rodney Vandevender, Cash Keating, Trenton Marino, and Devan Lamarne, had six tackles apiece.
The Pee Wee's wrap up their season with a record of 8-2.
