ELKINS - Two meet records were set and Bridgeport High School earned the top spot in the Annual Autumn Invitational held Saturday afternoon at the George A. Myles pool on the campus of Davis & Elkins College.

Buckhannon-Upshur's Maggie Miller, the reigning state champion in the 50 freestyle and the 100 freestyle, this time set the invitational record in the 100 butterfly with an effort of 1:01:00.

Elkins' Samantha Hall, who shared the state title in the 50 freestyle with Miller two years ago, set the invitational record in the 100 freestyle with a time of 54:15. She came within five one-hundredths of a second of setting the 50 freestyle record as well but settled with winning the event.
