D&E men suffer loss to Panthers

Surging AB wins seventh game in a row

OWENSBORO, Ky. - Kentucky Wesleyan placed six players in double figures to claim a 98-75 victory over Davis & Elkins Thursday night in G-MAC action.

Dominque Dawson led the balanced attack for the Panthers (10-6, 5-0 G-MAC with 15 points. Lonnie Hays added 14, Ken-Jah Bosley and Lucas Barker 13 each, Devin Langford 12 and Donovan Johnson 10.

Devin Miller fired in 24 points, while Juwan Strothers tallied 13 for the Senators (8-6, 1-2), who will travel to Trevecca Nazarene at 5 p.m. Saturday.

Kentucky Wesleyan will battle Alderson Broaddus on the same day at 4 p.m. in a battle of G-MAC unbeaten teams.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Adam Kline fired in 23 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead Alderson Broaddus past G-MAC foe Trevecca Nazarene, 72-52, on Thursday night.

Richard Lemon added 11 points and 10 rebounds, while Thylas Perkins chipped in with 11 points for the Battlers, winners of seven straight games.

David Woodward had 13 and Taylor Clay 11 for the Trojans (5-10, 2-3 G-MAC), who will host Davis &?Elkins at 5 p.m. Saturday for a league contest.

AB will visit Kentucky Wesleyan at 4 p.m. on the same date.

Notre Dame College 80

SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio - Wesleyan had three players score over 20 points in a 90-80 win over Notre Dame College on Thursday night.

T.J. Thompson tallied 27, Brett Ervin 23 and Aleksandar Djordjevic 20 for the Bobcats (9-6, 4-3 MEC).

Buckhannon-Upshur High School product Tanner McGrew added 16 points and 15 rebounds.

Tyler Gaiter had 27 points to lead the Falcons (4-8, 2-4).

Wesleyan will entertain No. 1 West Liberty at 4 p.m. Saturday.
