West Virginia Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin joined with Democratic leaders from throughout the state in November to honor Stanley Gould as one of West Virginia's Outstanding Democrats of the Year.

Gould was selected by local county leaders for hard work and dedication to the Democratic Party in Randolph County. He received tributes from Democrats during the Jefferson-Jackson Celebration in Charleston on Nov. 2

This year's celebration is dedicated to honoring Sen. Jay Rockefeller for his 50 years of service, with keynote speaker, Vice President Joe Biden.
