Driver in fatal Upshur crash indicted

BUCKHANNON - An Ellamore man whom police say was behind the wheel in a fatal wreck in October was indicted by an Upshur County grand jury Tuesday.

Ronnie Junior Landis, 34, was indicted on two counts of driving under the influence contributing cause of death, a felony, and driving while license revoked for driving under the influence, third or subsequent offense, also a felony.

According to the complaint filed by the West Virginia State Police in Upshur County Magistrate Court, Landis was driving a Dodge truck shortly after 8 p.m. along CR 151 on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, when he allegedly lost control of the vehicle and crashed.

A passenger in the vehicle, 27-year-old Nicole Rogozinski Currence, died from injuries suffered in the accident, according to the complaint.

Landis is being held in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail in lieu of a $370,000 bond.

A total of 32 people were named in 35 indictments returned by the grand jury Tuesday, involving crimes ranging from shoplifting to arson. Bond return for the following individuals is scheduled for 9 a.m. Jan. 17, at the Upshur County Courthouse.

Individuals also indicted include:

Beth Ann Bolyard, 47, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of first-degree arson, a felony.

Robert Franklin Davis II, 35, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug laboratory, a felony; fleeing in a vehicle in a manner showing reckless indifference to the safety of others, a felony; fleeing in a vehicle while DUI, a felony; driving while license revoked for DUI, second offense, a misdemeanor; shoplifting, first offense, a misdemeanor; and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, second offense, a misdemeanor.

Davis was also indicted on one count of escape, a felony.

Jonathan David Cochran, 19, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of burglary, a felony; one count of grand larceny, a felony; two counts of conspiracy, a felony; 13 counts of forgery, a felony; and 13 counts of uttering, a felony.

Cameron P. Loudin, 20, of Ellamore, was indicted on one count of burglary, a felony; one count of grand larceny, a felony; and two counts of conspiracy, a felony.

Wesley Ray Stephen McCartney, 25, of Crawford, was indicted on one count of operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug laboratory, a felony, and two counts of possession of precursor to manufacture methamphetamine, a felony.

Timothy Joseph Baxa, 24, of Buckhannon, was indicted on two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, heroin, a felony, and one count of delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, a felony.

Heather D. Ware, 28, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of delivery of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, a felony.

Joseph M. Hall, 66, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of delivery of a controlled substance, Fentanyl, a felony.

Kenneth Mitchell Lashua Jr., 45, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug laboratory, a felony; one count of possession of precursor used to manufacture methamphetamine, a felony; and two counts of conspiracy, a felony.

Daniel Reese Prince II, 28, of Weston, was indicted on one count of delivery of a controlled substance, oxycodone, a felony.

David R. Lower, 59, of Buckhannon, was indicted on two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, a felony.

Joshua W. Cranmer, 31, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug laboratory, a felony, and one count of possession of precursor to manufacture methamphetamine, a felony.

Jamie Ray Sothen, 22, of Volga, was indicted on one count of operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug laboratory, a felony, and one count of possession of precursor used to manufacture methamphetamine, a felony.

David Glen Post, 29, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug laboratory, a felony, and one count of possession of precursor used to manufacture methamphetamine, a felony.

Tylor James Arbogast, 21, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug laboratory, a felony; one count of possession of precursor used to manufacture methamphetamine, a felony; and two counts of conspiracy, a felony.

Daniel Scott Grogg, 19, of Buckhannon, was indicted on three counts of forgery, a felony; three counts of uttering, a felony; and two counts of breaking and entering of an automobile, a misdemeanor.

Connie Lillian Cordle, 61, of Russell, Ky., was indicted on one count of fleeing in a vehicle showing reckless indifference to the safety of others, a felony.

Dorothy Murray, 47, of Buckhannon, was indicted on two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, a felony.

Joseph Brian Kelley, 21, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug laboratory, a felony, and one count of attempt to manufacture a controlled substance, a felony.

Robert Lee Linger, 22, of Adrian, was indicted on one count of transferring stolen property, a felony.

David Jay Lipps, 29, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of fraudulent schemes, a felony.

Darrell Gay Ware, 45, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of failure to provide notice of change in sex offender registry information, second offense, a felony, and one count of fraudulent schemes, a felony.

Emanuel Monroe Perry, 52, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of providing false information in sex offender registry information, a felony, and three counts of failure to provide notice of change in sex offender registry information, a felony.

Judy Queen, 53, of Buckhannon, was indicted on three counts of fraudulent schemes, a felony.

Tiffany Dawn Coleman, 27, of Lost Creek, was indicted on two counts of uttering, a felony.

Joshua Jared Davis, 27, of Buckhannon, was indicted on nine counts of failure to provide notice of change in sex offender registry information, a felony.

Joseph Michael Wagner, 31, of Buckhannon, was indicted on six counts of shoplifting, third offense, a felony.

David Blaine Allen, 54, of Rock Cave, was indicted on one count of possession of firearm by prohibited person, a felony.

Clifton Vachel Thompson, 34, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of domestic battery, third or subsequent offense, a felony.

Bradley Adam Bonner, 22, of French Creek, was indicted on one count of burglary, a felony, and one count of petit larceny, a misdemeanor.

Michael O. Rhodes Jr., 35, of Buckhannon, was indicted on one count of battery, a misdemeanor.
