MILL CREEK - Mitchell Mason scored 18 points to lift Tucker County over Tygarts Valley, 68-40, Friday night in Potomac Valley Conference action.

"It was a learning experience for this young bunch," TVHS coach Tom Wamsley said. "Our goal is to come out smarter than we were when we went in. We did a lot of things wrong, but we also did a lot of things right.

"We had trouble shooting, but of course the Tucker County defense had a lot to do with that. I just hope this experience makes us better in the long run."
