FRANKLIN - Evan Arrington has come full circle during his career at Pendleton County.
After being a backup on the junior varsity team as a freshman, the senior forward went over 1,000 points for his career in a 68-32 win over Union on Wednesday night.
"Evan really dedicated himself to the sport from his sophomore to senior seasons," Wildcats coach Ryan Lambert said. "He has worked yearround, especially in the summer, to put himself and his teammates in a successful position."
Pendleton County (16-4) was led in scoring against the Tigers by Logan Cooper with 14 points. Luke Yokum added 11 and Hayden Fox eight points and 14 rebounds.
Tyler Seabolt bucketed eight for Union.
The Wildcats will conclude the regular season at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Petersburg.
