William Brian Johnson, 43, of Martinsburg, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014, in Berkeley Medical Center.
Born April 14, 1970, in Hagerstown, Md., he was the son of Arthur Johnson and Marjorie Haller Johnson.
He was employed at Giant/Martins in Winchester, Va., as a meat cutter. He was a member of the Central Church of Christ. Brian was a member of the Isaac Walton League. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and loved all kinds of music. He was a huge Steelers fan.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Robert Johnson; a sister, Bonnie Silver; Brian's fiancee, Lisa Walters; a niece, Nicole Kovaleski; a nephew, Michael Kovaleski; a great-niece, Lily Parrish; Aunt Thelma and Uncle Bob Summerfield; and several cousins.
Family will receive friends today from 6-9 p.m. at Brown Funeral Homes' South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 6, at South Berkeley Chapel with Ministers Ed Floyd and Ray Murray officiating. Interment will be in Gerrardstown Presbyterian Church.
