CHARLESTON -No. 5 seed Sissonville knocked off top-seed Fairmont Senior, 48-40, Friday in Class AA semifinal action at the Charleston Civic Center.
The Indians, who will face Westside in the title game at noon today, were led by Brittany Gould with 17 points and 15 rebounds. Madison Jones added 17 points and Karli Pinkerton 12 points and nine caroms.
Emily Stoller had 20 points for the Polar Bears, who trailed by 12 in the fourth quarter before rallying to cut the lead to three. Stoller scored all nine points during the run.

Fairmont Senior (21-2) was playing without leading scorer Kaden Whatley, who suffered a knee injury during regional play.
Marshall recruit Hope Lester fired in 26 points as No. 2 seed Westside advanced with a 56-44 win over Keyser.
The Golden Tornado (24-3) were led by Lexi Carr with 14 points.
Top-seed Parkersburg South advanced to the Class AAA championship game with a 51-37 victory over Martinsburg on Friday.
The Patriots (25-0) will face either Morgantown at 7:15 p.m. today in the championship game. The Mohigans defeated Greenbrier East, 37-33, in Friday's other semifinal.
Keya Bartlett fired in 27 points for South, which has won 30 straight games. Anna Hayton added 12 points and 10 rebounds for the defending state champions.
Essence Underwood had 16 points and 14 rebounds, while Kristen Nunn added 14 for the Bulldogs (20-5).
