Mr. Harl E. Lambert, 78, a resident of Elkins, passed away Monday, March 17, 2014, in Holbrook Nursing Home in Buckhannon.
He was born Sept. 28, 1935, at Wymer, a son of the late Isom Lambert and Pearl Kisamore Lambert.
He was married to Bernice McCauley Lambert, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by one daughter, Linda Lambert Smith and husband, Jerry, of Buckhannon; one brother, Junior Lambert of Elkins; and two sisters, Ruth Poling of Parsons and Shirley Lambert of Elkins. Two grandchildren, Brittany Fingal of New Martinsville and Mindy Smith-Amburgy of Charleston; and three great-grandchildren, Tyler, Eli and Olivia also survive.
Also preceding him in death were one son, Jeffrey Lambert; and two sisters, Ethel Simmons and Icie Lambert.
Mr. Lambert was retired from Kelly Foundry where he worked as a moulder, and he enjoyed gardening.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. today at Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 20, from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Bobbie Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in the Mouse Cemetery.
