Three-vehicle accident

A three-vehicle accident in Valley Bend Friday afternoon resulted in one person being taken to Davis Medical Center for injuries. According to officials on scene, a Ford ZX2 traveling northbound on Route 219/250 collided with a Toyota Corrola as it was turning into Spanky’s Bar and Grill. A Kia Soul was also damaged in the accident. No names were released and the incident is still under investigation. The Elkins detachment of the West Virginia State Police, Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, Tygart Valley Fire Department, Huttonsville/Mill Creek Fire Department and Randolph County EMS all responded to the scene.
