Elkins Cub Scout Pack 88 participated in a red spruce restoration project April 12 at Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge. The boys spent the morning learning about the importance of the red spruce habitat and helping plant 5,500 new red spruce. Participating members are, from left, Isaak Whetsell, Austin Whetsell, Lee Chua and Aiden Burkhammer.
