BUCKHANNON - The West Virginia Strawberry Festival has a full calendar of activities planned through Sunday.
"So far, the 73rd festival is going great," WVSF President Charliena Eubank said Monday. "We have had a lot of new activities added this year. Some of our old things are also back, thus fitting the theme 'Old Traditions and New Beginnings.'
"I'm really excited to see how the cruise-in is going to go (at 5:30 p.m. today on East Main Street), and especially for the next three days of activities, including the parades and Grand Feature Parade. We had a wonderful turn out for the Horse and Carriage Parade even though the weather was a little damp. That's OK. They were all here, they had a great time and we're ready for the rest of the week."
