Allen Rockwell Tucker, 65, of Elkins, passed away June 3, 2014, at UPMC in Pittsburgh, Pa.
He was born March 30, 1949, in Fayetteville, a son of the late Cary Harry and Nora Gay McCumbers Tucker.
He is survived by three sons, Scott Tucker of Elkins, Jeffrey (Sammi) Tucker of Mineral Ridge, Ohio, and Robert (Jamie) Tucker of Stowe, Ohio; five daughters, Kelli Roby of Elkins, Kristie (Chad) Mayfield of Bruceton Mills, Kim (Jeremy) White of Elkins, Shannon Ellis Tucker of Howland, Ohio, and Stacey Tucker; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters, Charles H. Tucker, Merle Tucker, Cary H. Tucker Jr., Opal Tucker Hewey Fox, Wavelene MCuthens, Lora Jean Jackson, Betty Lou Rosier Pipes, Kay Ann Spitzer Cates, Bonnie Lucille Daugherty and Patricia Lee Waugaman Olah. He was the last surviving member of his family.
Mr. Tucker worked for General Motors as a fabricator. He was a Vietnam era veteran who received a Purple Heart. He enjoyed watching football and playing poker.
Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m. June 6 in Pifer Mountain Cemetery with the Rev. Pat Cassidy officiating.
