ELKINS - The second day of the Pizza Hut Hillbilly Hardball Classic was plagued by a late-afternoon storm on Friday that halted most action around the area.
Games were still being attempted to be completed or started as of presstime Friday, and the rest of the weekend schedule was still being discussed by tournament organizers.
Wheeling Post 1, meanwhile, remained one of the undefeated teams through two days of action.

Left-hander Nick Naumann tossed a complete-game shutout as Wheeling improved to 4-0 in Hardball Classic action with a win over Prospect in Friday's second game.
In earlier action at Bridgeport High School, Justice Jackson's walk-off homer in the bottom of the eight inning lifted Wheeling to a 5-4 victory over French Creek Valley.

St. Mary's (Md.) jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in holding off Potomac Valley Friday at Elkins High School/Post 29 Field.
Post 64 tied the game at 5-5 on Alex See's three-run double before Post 255 regained the lead for good in the sixth with a single run and tacked on another in the seventh.
Mifflin County (Pa.), meanwhile, erupted for seven runs in the first inning in taking a 10-0 lead against Severna Park (Md.) in the third inning at Robin Harvey Memorial Field.
Lucas McKay cracked a three-run homer during the uprising, while Drew Hannon had an RBI single and Kyle Bodtorf a two-run triple.
Shane Connahan added a solo homer in the second for Post 287.
