ELKINS - The Little League 9-10-year-old All-Stars District 8 tournament got underway Saturday at Riverbend Park.
Teams competing in Pool A include Elkins Blue, Tygarts Valley, Clay County and Summersville, while Pool B consists of Elkins Red, Tucker County, Braxton County and Webster County.
In Sunday's action, Tucker County defeated Elkins Red, 12-11, in extra innings, Tygarts Valley defeated Elkins Blue 11-10, Braxton County knocked off Webster County and Clay County earned a win over Summersville.

Today's games include Webster County vs. Elkins Red at 5 p.m., Clay County vs. Tygarts Valley at 6 p.m., Braxton County vs. Tucker County at 7 p.m. and Elkins Blue vs. Summersville at 8 p.m.
On Wednesday, the Pool A winner will face the Pool B runner-up at 5:30 p.m. and the Pool B champion will face the Pool B runner-up at 8 p.m. to determine the teams that will advance to the state tournament, which will be held next month at Tygarts Valley.
Members of the Elkins Blue team include Jacob Bender, Isaac Braegelman, Hunter Dudley, Aiden Fisher, Owen Haddix, Cory Harper, Brayden Jack, Cassious Keating, Gauge Manolidis, Brandon?Rossi and Hunter Taylor.
Keith Fisher is the team's manager.
The Elkins Red team players are Ben Auvil, Ben Baines, Devin Channell, Evan Humphrey, Tyler Ludwig, Nicholas Myers, Hunter Shreve, Jaydon Shreve, Joshua Warner and Thomas Rennix.
The team's manager is Bryan Warner.
The 11-12-year-old District 8 tournament, meanwhile, will begin Saturday at Summersville.
Teams entered include Elkins, Tygarts Valley, Pocahontas County, Braxton County, Summersville and Clay County.
