ELKINS - Citizens Bank of West Virginia and Allegheny Insurance earned wins Thursday in Elkins Elks Babe Ruth City Tournament action at Robin Harvey Memorial Field.
Citizens plated four runs over the first two innings to hold off Elkins Suzuki, 4-2, in the first game of the tournament, while Allegheny rallied for a 9-5 win over Broughton's Sports in the nightcap.
Kyle Riggleman tossed a four-hitter in Citizens' victory, striking out six.

Caleb Riggleman took the loss, while Rece Wamsley finished in relief for Suzuki, which scored single runs in the fourth and fifth innings.
In the second game, Justin Fike drove in four runs to lead Allegheny Insurance to the victory.
Fike went 2 for 4 at the plate and scored three runs. Cory Gillespie also had a good game for Allegheny, going 2 for 4 with two runs scored.
Read Schumacher pitched five innings of relief to earn the victory. He struck out eight batters.
Russell Ward took the loss for Broughton's Sports. He pitched three innings and fanned one.
Brendan Cain paced the offense for Broughton's, going 2 for 3 with an RBI and run scored. Sam Nestor also added a run and an RBI, going 1 for 2.
Today's matchups will be Citizens vs. No. 2-seed Elkins Fordland at 5:45 p.m., followed by Allegheny vs. top-seed Davis Trust Company at 8:15 p.m.
The championship game is scheduled to be played at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
