Wanda Lee Corbin, 89, of Kempton, Md., passed away June 27, 2014, at her home.
She was born June 10, 1925, in Kempton, Md., a daughter of the late Claude and Gladys Gertrude Davis Corbin.
She is survived by one son, David (Anne) Corbin, of Woodbridge, Va.; one brother, Bradley Corbin, of Kempton, Md.; and two sisters, Carol (Daniel) Pase, of Thomas and Maxine Repetsky, of Fairmont.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Cork, Clete, Delmont, Putt and Jack Corbin; and one infant sister, Thelma Corbin.
Wanda enjoyed baking and cooking; she was known as the cookie lady in the Kempton community. Her hobbies included gardening and flowers. She was an avid reader. She enjoyed pets and being around kids and people. She was a very giving and caring person.
Friends will be received at Hinkle Funeral Home today from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at Hinkle Funeral Chapel Sunday, June 29, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Ruth Bullwinkle officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
