Debbie Jo Phillips Tenney, 56, a resident of the Good Samaritan Center in Belington, passed away Friday, July 4, 2014, in Davis Medical Center.
She was born July 14, 1957, in Warren, Ohio, a daughter of the late Onie C. Phillips and the late Betty J. Ailstock Phillips.
She was married to Randall Tenney, who preceded her in death Jan. 26, 2004.
Surviving are two sons, Daniel White of Elkins and Damien White of Leesburg, Va.; one daughter, Molly Beth Reed of Elkins; two brothers, Onie Mark Phillips of Baltimore, Md., and Danny Kirkpatrick of Elkins; two sisters, Sue Brandt of Rolling Heights, Calif., and Shirley Bee of Bella Vista, Ariz.; and four grandchildren, Kristen and Allyson White and Trillian and Ava Reed.
Also preceding her in death was one brother, James Kirkpatrick.
Debbie was a graduate of Davis & Elkins College School of Nursing and was a homemaker. She was a member of Destiny Tabernacle of Elkins.
Friends may call from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, at Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Mountain State Memorial Gardens near Gilman.
