Hazel Gladys Walton, 88, of Buckhannon, died Sunday, July 13, 2014, in Holbrook's Nursing Home in Buckhannon.
She was born July 3, 1926, in Upshur County, a daughter of the late Charlie and Ada Sothen Campbell.
On Oct. 6, 1962, she married Roy Walton, who preceded her in death Feb. 3, 1988.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Louise Walton, Violet Wamsley, Rosie Gibson and Beda Queen; and two brothers, Wilbert and Forest Campbell.
She is survived by one daughter, Sheri Walton and fiance, Earl Perrine, of Buckhannon; two sisters, Judy Beer and husband, Ed, and Juanita Adams and husband, Charlie, all of Buckhannon; and one brother, Lafie Campbell and wife, Norma, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
Mrs. Walton was an Avon sales representative. She was a member of North Buckhannon United Methodist Church.
Friends will be received Wednesday, July 16, from noon to 2 p.m. at Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Billee Scott Mick officiating. Burial will follow in Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon.
