Albert Junior Boyles, 82, a resident of the Talbott Personal Care Home, Belington, formerly of Locust Avenue, Philippi, died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, in the personal care home.
He was born Jan. 26, 1932, at Berryburg, near Philippi, a son of the late Albert and Clarice Fanny (Shaw) Boyles.
He was the last of his immediate family having been preceded in death by four sisters, Ada Board, Myrtle Fridley, Hazel Bartlett and Ava Marie Campbell, with whom he had made his home; and by two brothers, Bobby Boyles and Orville Boyles.
Survivors include nieces and nephews, Gene Board, of Fairmont; Ronnie Board and Suetta Hancock of Delaware; Vickie Hall of Parkersburg; Mickey Fridley, Mary Ann Hudkins and Nancy Keller, all of Philippi; Virginia Moore, Ravenna, Ohio; Brenda Qualls Bayard and Janet White of Philadelphia; Robert Bartlett and Fred Bartlett, both of Kissimmee, Fla.; and David Boyles and his sister, Beverly, (children of Orville Boyles) believed to be in Monongalia County.
Mr. Boyles had been employed as a stockman in the G.C. Murphy Co. store in Philippi. He attended the Crim Memorial United Methodist Church.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, at the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery. The Rev. David Brown will officiate and interment will follow.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. on Monday.
