The Journey WV

September 2, 2014
Journey WV held an open house that featured food, tours and horse and buggy rides. Founder Angie Shockley was able to acquire a farmhouse, a barn and the 17 acres in Tucker County to give young men from ages 18-24 an opportunity to get real-life experience as well as a sense of purpose. There currently are six young men housed there from many areas of the United States. These young men have jobs in the community and also take care of their garden, chickens, pigs and horses. There are staff members that stay at the home and live close. They provide transportation to jobs, appointments, shopping and other places. For more information, call 304-642-1980.
