Waneta Grace Miller Doyle, 96, of the Country Club Road, Elkins, entered into eternal life Wednesday morning, Sept. 3, 2014, at her home.
Ms. Doyle was born Nov. 28, 1917, in Nestorville, daughter of the late Floyd C. Miller and Ethel Shroyer Miller.
She grew up in Elkins and was a graduate of Elkins High School with the class of 1935. She moved to Baltimore, Md., and worked at Western Electric for 30 years. She returned to Elkins in 2002 and made her home with her sister, Marie
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Dail Floyd Miller, Wilbur G. Miller and Robert Andrew Miller; five sisters, Lucille E. Gum, Betty J. Waller, Dacotah E. Caudell, E. Marie Hammer and Mattie Jean Cowden.
She was a member of St. Brendan Catholic Church in Elkins.
At the request of the deceased, her remains were cremated. A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at Tomblyn Funeral Home with the Rev. John Sarraga officiating. Interment will be conducted at a later date in Mount Morris Cemetery in Barbour County.
The family has suggested that memorial contributions be made to the Randolph County Humane Society, P.O. Box 785, Elkins, WV 26241, in memory of Ms. Doyle.
