Submitted photo Three Pickens School archers have earned spots in the 2025 WVDNR Archery in the Schools State Tournament. Almost 1,400 archers from 94 West Virginia schools participated in the state qualifier. The top eight teams, and top 15 individual boys and girls in elementary, middle school and high school will compete in the state tournament. Pickens School students Lexie qualified to be one of the top 15 elementary girls, Haley qualified to be one of the top 15 middle school girls, and Hannah qualified to be one of the top 15 high school girls. The state tournament will take place today at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.
