Sharon Faye Clark Lambert

LAMBERT

Sharon Faye Clark Lambert, 79, a resident of the Poe Run Community, Elkins, passed from this life Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024, at Davis Medical Center in Elkins.

Sharon was born Tuesday, April 10, 1945, in Waynesboro, Virginia, a daughter of the late Wade Hansford Clark and Virgie Viola Lloyd Clark.

On March 8, 1969, at the Bowden Church, she married Theodore “Ted” Lambert, who preceded her in death April 26, 2013. They had celebrated 44 years of marriage.

Left to cherish her memory is one brother, Floyd “Sonny” Clark of Harrisonburg, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Sadie Lambert of Bemis; and her chihuahua fur baby, “TC”.

Preceding her in death besides her parents and husband were three siblings, Roger, Barbara and Brenda.

Sharon was a 1966 graduate of Fort Defiance High School in Virginia. After meeting Ted, she moved to West Virginia, and they married. Sharon had been employed as a local housekeeper, a clerk at the Clinton Shoe Store, and she was best known as a cashier at Go Mart on Railroad Avenue in Elkins. She was an avid crafter; if she saw a craft in a magazine, she would do her best to copy what she saw. Sharon loved all things to do with gardening. She saw the beauty in all types of plants. She was a very sociable person and made friends with everyone she met.

Sharon’s request for cremation was honored with no further services at her request.

The Randolph Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements for Sharon Faye Clark Lambert.
